Sociology Graduate Student Kate Prickett Accepts Award at 2011 Gerontological Society of America Meeting

Kate Prickett accepts awards at the 2011 GSA meeting.
At the annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America, Kate Prickett received the Student Poster Award from the Taskforce on Minority Issues in Gerontology, and the Student Poster Award from the Emerging Scholar and Professional Organization. Kate received these awards for her paper titled "Contextualizing Mexican American Living Arrangements: The New Old Age and the Constraints of Culture." The paper was co-authored with Professor Jacqueline Angel and supported by a grant from the National Institute for Minority Health and Health Disparities.
