Network FAQ

Whom do I contact if I'm having trouble with my wired or wireless network connection?

Please call or email your appropriate building contact. They will be able to assist you, or escalate your problem to the appropriate party.

How do I get wireless to work on campus?

First, make sure you are in an area that has wireless coverage. Next, ensure that you have set up your device to access the appropriate network, depending on your role in the University. If you still are unable to connect, please contact the appropriate building contact.

Whom do I contact if I need more or faster network connection(s)?

All purchases of network equipment in the College of Liberal Arts are handled centrally. Please contact James Lewis, and provide your building and room number. Additional network connections can be activated or additional data cables pulled depending on your specific needs. Also, in some situations we can provide faster network connections (ie, 1 Gb/s instead of 100 Mb/s) for high-performance computing needs.
