Classroom and Student Area Policies
Acceptance of the Classroom and Student Study Area Policies is mandatory for reservation of classrooms.
Student Common Area and Student Lounge
LBJ School students are encouraged to use the Student Common Area, SRH
3.331 (the south half of the third floor of the Public Affairs Library)
for individual study and group meetings, rather than the classrooms downstairs
on the first floor. The main entrance to the Student Common Area is located
on the south side of the entrance hallway to the Media Room, SRH 3.330.
Lockers are available to rent in this area.
The Student Common Area offers a mix of private rooms,
semi-private group meeting areas (partitioned), areas for individual study,
and a lounge area. Food and drink are allowed in the Common Area on a
provisional basis. Please help keep the area clean by bagging leftover
food and putting it out in the hallway (extra trash cans and bags will
be located throughout the area). Plastic bags will be stored in the cabinet
labeled "Reserved for GPAC - Resource Committee" located along
the west wall as you enter the Common Area.
The Student Common Area and Student Lounge will be
locked from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and on weekends for security reasons.
